Hetrozygous..zygous?

at this moment im having a meltdown because i cant seem to understand all this stuff im learning about heterozygous and zygous and hybrid and purebred?? i dont understand!!! and i also dont understand what an allele is and im confused about the whole thing about genes and DNA's and chromosones!!! please help me... i have a test coming up soon :/
