How do i warm up my voice without instruments?

i try warming up on my own and it feels hard it feels sorta wrong my vocal teacher usually plays the piano in the background whick makes it easier and fells more right .i hum and do naa nee na nee and horse lips . like how do i know if i am in tune or practicing right without an instrument
