Is the American government so desperate as to send criminals to forcefully liberate a country?

Are the American people unable to make a regime change for the sake of the planet we all call home? Are they so ignorant or are they all behind their government although only 30 % voted for it and still needed the supreme court to decide who is the leader! You call that democracy?
